As one of the leading private trade fair and congress organisers in the German-speaking world, FLEET Events has tended even more strongly towards hosting its business and consumer events online. This allows us to offer the best of two worlds: the power of events attended in person as well as new opportunities to exchange information and meet digitally. That’s because we firmly believe that events will have a hybrid format in the future.

USING THE VIRTUAL XIRCUS WORLD

New platforms for trends and topics that motivate us. With the aim of also bringing people together in virtual space and of enabling them to have fascinating and unforgettable live experiences, we have developed our own online event platform xircus – offering visitors complete freedom and flexibility. A xircus event can be accessed from anywhere in the world with a single click. The platform is intuitive to use and provides direct access to important industry contacts, colleagues and top speakers, including numerous interaction options. In this case, participants are not only present in real time, but are also right in the middle of the event!

ABOUT FLEET EVENTS

Bringing people together and inspiring them: that's what we do best. And love doing the most. In 2006 we launched the company at our location in Hamburg. Today, FLEETEvents GmbH is one of Germany's leading private trade fair and conference organisers. In cooperation with our subsidiaries Fleet Education Events and CE Chefs Events, we design and stage consumer and business events such as Babini and eat&Style, professional events such as Chef-Sache, W3+ Fair and PHOTONICS+. By taking over an entire series of conferences, we assumed top position in the events sector for the German-speaking education industry in 2020. Regardless of the educational event – DKLK, DSLK, DILK, HRocks (formerly DALK), ÖSLK or ÖKLK – the conferences focus on current professional and leadership topics, as well as on the opportunity for intensive networking.

AND OUR LIVE EXPERIENCES

Our own, proprietary online event platform xircus allows us to stage live events online. This also makes every event become a lasting experience digitally. Visitors can navigate freely through the platform, participate in virtual lectures and workshops and actively get involved and network via 1:1 chats or video conferencing.

Whether it's with a conventional trade fair ticket or via a "Magic xircus link”, FLEET Events organises around 35 successful major events every year. This company with more than 50 employees is managed by shareholders Dr Thomas Köhl and Christoph Rénevier. FLEET Events came about as a result of the joint venture set up in 2006 by the international trade fair organiser Expomedia Group and the publishing house Gruner +Jahr.
