4. Collection of data on our website 

Cookies

7. Application processes 

We process applicant data only for the purpose and in thecontext of the application process, in accordance with the legal requirements.We process this data in order to fulfil our (pre)contractual obligations in thecontext of the application process within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR andArt. 6(1)(f) GDPR, if processing of the data becomes necessary for us, e.g. inthe context of legal procedures (in Germany, Section 26 of the German DataProtection Act (BDSG) also applies). 

The application process requires that applicants provide uswith applicant data. The required applicant data is indicated in the jobdescriptions and generally includes information about the person, postal andcontact addresses and supporting documents, such as a cover letter, CV andcertificates. In addition, applicants can voluntarily provide us withadditional information. 

By submitting their application to us, applicants consent tothe processing of their data for the purposes of the application process inaccordance with the nature and scope set out in this Data Protection Policy. 

If special categories of personal data within the meaning ofArt. 9(1) GDPR are voluntarily disclosed within the context of the applicationprocess, their processing is also carried out in accordance with Art. 9(2)(b)GDPR (e.g. health data, such as details of a severe disability, or ethnic origin).

Applicants can send us applications via email. However,please note that emails are generally not sent in encrypted form and thatapplicants themselves must provide encryption. Therefore, we cannot take anyresponsibility for the transfer of the application between the sender andreceipt on our server. 

In the event of a successful application, we will processthe data provided by the applicants for the purpose of establishing a contractof employment. Otherwise, if the application for a job offer is not successful, the applicant's data will be deleted. Applicant data will also be deleted if anapplication is withdrawn, which applicants are entitled to do at any time. 

Subject to justified revocation by the applicant, the datawill be deleted after a period of six months to allows us to answer anyfollow-up questions about the application and comply with our duty to provideevidence under the German Equal Treatment Act.
